Glass Swan Tea Pet

In the Chinese Gong Fu Cha style of tea preparation, it is common practice to rinse the tea and to pour said rinse over a Tea Pet. These tea pets tend to represent the Chinese zodiac characters but have now taken on various, endearing forms. 

This particular tea pet looks like a black swan, which promptly turns white when hot tea is poured over it! Expect a lot of 'oohs' and 'ahhs' as this one is quite the spectacle. 

Fair warning: the excitement of watching the swan change colors may entice you to drink a lot more tea! 

Material: Heat-sensitive glass

Usage Instructions:  Pour hot water / tea over the swan to see the color change

Care Instructions: Do not place in the dishwasher or microwave.
